Tune In to Your Community and Tune Out TV!
April 3-17 is about choosing to turn off the TV and computer screens and getting involved in your community! Join in on the many activities going on around town such as a community book hunt. Little book shapes like this pic above will pop up all over town, be sure to remember where you spot them! There will also be a concert in the park, fire and police station tours, storytimes, and many other activities. LIBRARYPALOOZA
April 8, 2011 from 6:30-9:00pm join us at the River Forest Public Library for Librarypalooza!! This year's fantastic night of library fun will include Juggling Storyteller Chris Fascione (please drop by the library's Children's Room to pick up tickets), a community art project, BINGO, Twister, bowling, Peterson's Ice Cream, and a performance by folksinger Rick Pickren. So don't miss out on this super awesome library extravaganza!!!
